Quinoa is a protein packed, delicious, gluten-free grain alternative (technically it is not a grain, it’s a seed!)
It is has a delicate nutty taste, and is incredibly simple to cook! It’s a great addition to salads, stews and soups. White quinoa has a more subtle flavour and is slightly more fluffy when cooked than tri colour quinoa.

Directions For Use
Measure 1 cup of quinoa.
Rinse under cold water, to remove any saponins. (It’ll have a bitter taste if not removed)
Place the rinsed quinoa and 1 ½ cups broth or water in a saucepan, with a pinch of salt.
Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes or until water absorbed.
Turn off heat and wait for 5 minutes before removing lid and fluffing quinoa with a fork.
